Green Tea Smoothie

Smoothies are great. Green tea is super healthy.. why not combine the two for a deliciously refreshing green tea smoothie?

Ingredients: (4 servings)

2 pears
1 ripe avocado
2 kiwi
1 sour apple
2 cups of your favourite green tea (cold)
A handful of fresh spinach
2-3 tablespoons of chia seeds (optional but very healthy!)

 

Pretty self explanatory – wash the pears, apple and spinach. Peel the apple and pear and remove the seeds / cut into smaller pieces.

Peel the kiwi and cut into smaller pieces, cut the avocado and remove the pit and hollow.

Throw all the ingredients into a blender (except the chia seeds). You can add the seeds at the end and allow to stand to enable them to swell.
