In the gorgeous streets of Brighton there’s a beautiful little healthy cafe called Inside-Out.

The inside is pretty much what I would want / expect from a seaside cafe. It’s got a bit of an old rustic feel to it, and the atmosphere is very friendly. I loved that they have a huge selection of magazines and newspapers too! It really feels like a place where you could spend hours of your time just eating gorgeous food and drinking delicious hot chocolate.
The menu is full of brilliant creations, to the point where I just absolutely couldn’t decide what I wanted. At all. For the longest time…
Unfortunately when the food came, (we waited a very long time for it) – it was cold!! My beans were cold, the potato wedges were so hard and burnt i couldn’t eat them and my egg wasn’t really cooked properly. Very disappointing. On the other hand, the avocado toast was absolutely delicious.
Now, I don’t want to judge too much as in fairness to them, the cafe was incredibly busy that morning. I do think, however, that on the weekend a good cafe should be prepared to deal with a large amount of people.
The waitress was polite and friendly, and the cafe had a lovely feel to it so I probably would go back again and give them another chance to impress! Overall, though, it just didn’t feel up to scratch.
Have you been to Inside Out in Brighton? What was your experience like?
